Eleven of the best women kiteboarders in the world are preparing to fly to Fiji this weekend for the best thing to happen to women’s kiting since the invention of the kite itself.

The Cindy Mosey Island Odyssey brings together professional kite girls with emerging women riders from all over the world for a week of competition, coaching clinics and pina coladas at sunset on the remotely beautiful island of Kadavu, Fiji.

All the big names of kiteboarding will be there; Kristin Boese, Ania Grzelinka, Katija Roose, Emma York, Andreya Wharry, Laurel Eastman, Susi Mai, Sonja Fischl, Petra Goeschl, CJ Jones and of course the kiwi girl who created this odyssey, Cindy Mosey.
