Double victory for France: Guenon & Consorti win the 2006 PKRA Kiteboarding Speed Grand Prix

- Today the island Fuerteventura saw one of the most successful
events in the history of speedkiting. During the last 5 days, 11 races
have been started, a number that hasn't been seen before at a speed
event ever.

With a windforce up to 8 Beaufort (35-40 knots) the World Record of
Olaf Marting (41, 79 knots) has been missed only with a blink of an
eye.  French Christophe Prin Guenon raced 40, 75 knots and ended
the contests on 1st place in both valuations:  top speed
