Best Kiteboarding signs on as a major sponsor of The Odyssey

The Odyssey, the world’s first and only dedicated kiteboarding expedition has just announced Best Kiteboarding as their title sponsor. Gavin McClurg, owner and director of Offshore Odysseys, the company operating The Odyssey says Best saw the opportunity from the start. “Best has a keen eye on the future of kiteboarding and looks for unique ways to differentiate themselves from the competition. The Odyssey provides just that- our mission is to explore the kiteboarding potential of our planet and Best will now be the only kite and board manufacturer who has access to our itinerary,” says Gavin. Ian Huschle, CEO and President of Best Kiteboarding agrees with Gavin that the future of kiteboarding is in pioneering new locations- getting into areas few or none have ever been. “For Best, The Odyssey fit our marketing agenda and plans for the future perfectly. The Odyssey is a journey the kiteboarding community will have a keen interest in following and we wanted to be a part of making it happen,” says Ian. Participants of The Odyssey will now have access to Best’s latest equipment as well as instruction on select trips from Best’s own international team.
