Most people now use short lines 14-20m

keenan "I have used 20M lines for the past 2 years, every session, every size
kite. Now it seems crazy to have long 27-30M lines. I like it mostly
because of the simplicity factor of having short lines, easy to launch
in small areas, kite is close, turns fast, and is easy to get to the
edge of the window when you want it there. Personally I love it.
